  in he's nephews book i could not believe some of the things he mentions.

  when his father died fred franz told his mother he could not go to the funeral because he was just too busy at bethel.

  how do i feel about this?.

  too much doubt.. shame on you people who are responsible for putting richard to death.. richard is scheduled to be put to death in oklahoma at 3pm on september 16th by lethal injection.

  i have followed this case and feel like so many people very bad about this.

  seriously, they will change the midweek meeting ever so slightly.

  it is just repackaging of the same old stuff.seriously, we don't know if construction is halted for days, weeks, months, forever, or what.. we don't know if new kingdom halls will still go up, old kingdom halls will be closed and sold.

  they have laid off bethelites before and they will lay them off some more.

  Old is Becoming New Again?

  is it just me, or does it seem like jw.org is returning to some very old methods from rutherford's era?.

  - their carts / booths is very reminiscent of the sandwich board system, including the fact that they no longer personally engage.

  - showing videos via the tablet / smartphone is almost exactly like the phonograph method they used.

  Crazy Study Stories

  i never really had any studies to speak of, but my parents did have many over the years, and every single one of them was batsh!t crazy in some way.

  there was one lady we kids affectionately termed "dirty robin" (her name was robin) and yes, she was very dirty.

  her kids were filthy and rarely wore clothes.

  One family would rinse out cigarette butts from coffee cups with water to make us tea...two very clean special pioneer girls drank it with a concrete smile!! All for Jehovah. One woman would go to the next room to get her "bible" which was THE BEDROOM DOOR taken into the kitchen with verses scribbled in black texta. One guy revealed to us he was LAZARUS and Jesus had baptized him...we did not return. Ahhh my productive pioneer days...worth every penny.
